What is the main difference between detailing a boat and a car?

The types of soaps, wax, and polishes you use should be designed for boats and should also be biodegradable, especially when boats are being detailed while in the water. The next biggest consideration is that a boat has many more compartments than a car. Simply knowing where these are as well as affording yourself enough time for the detail. Lastly, boats are much larger than a car or SUV and for this reason, the equipment you use is important to consider. Rotary polishers and power washers at the correct grade are best used for boats.
